Thought for Sunday:
This week conversations have all been started with one thing - when does everyone have their hair appointment booked . It may seem a frivolous event and yet to be able to go and partake of something so normal, a part of everyday life and to feel lighter, free and looking coiffured is a game changer.
This time my hair appointment will be a major game changer. Like many others taking the leap to the real deal, this will be a transition back to the real me. A jump to the wild side as I embrace my grey.
Its not just a change of hair colour but it symbolises a shedding of the old , unwanted self, a letting go of all the things of the past that do not need to be carried into the future. It represents embracing the authentic self and loving what is there now. Of learning to love who you are, right here, right now.
As we move out of lockdown, step forward with hope, shed the old unwanted ways of being that do not enhance you, and live a life authentically
